We are very excited about your plan to visit.

What to expect: We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating, so we want to answer as many questions as possible.  Please  know that we’ll do our best to answer any additional questions, if needed.

  • Parking - We are located on the corner of  Northside Dr. and Old Canton Rd.  You can enter the parking lot from either side.  First time visitor parking is available in the lot closest to Old Canton Rd.

  • Worship Service - The worship service begins at 10:30 am and is approximately 70 mins long, with a mixture of singing songs, scripture-based preaching, and prayer.   The sermon is in the middle with singing both before and after.  Most Sundays we take communion, and we welcome all who trust Christ and are walking with Him to join in taking communion.

  • Message - The sermon will typically last around 35 mins.

  • People - There is a diverse range of age, economics and culture present at Bellwether.  We also hope to continue to grow and become a representation of the panorama of God’s creativity with people and cultures in the Jackson-Metro area.

Bellwether Kids - All ages are welcome to join us in our primary gathering.   Jesus welcomed the little children to come near and be blessed, and was fine dealing with the distractions along the way.  We want to be welcoming as well.   We also provide care for 12 months - 5th grade during the worship service.

  • 0-12 Months If you have kids that are 0- 12 months they are welcome to join you in the service.  We also have a parent-care room for baby care that is available for parents who may have a nursing child or need a place to change a diaper.  The service is piped into that room.

  • 1 - 5 Year Olds -  We have 3 rooms and activities available for these ages in our primary worship space.  When you enter the foyer you’ll find the check-in desk to your right.  There are qualified volunteers who lead activities, bible lessons and songs during the worship service.

  • 1st - 5th grade - The check-in area is on the hallway to the right when you walk into the front doors of our space. Bellwether Kids ministry includes a worship time, which includes bible lessons, songs, and other activities. They are led by teachers and helpers. They typically join us after the message. At the end of the message Parents of 1st-5th grade are invited to check their kids out and bring them in for the music and closing of our worship service.
