STUDENT LIFE CAMP 2018

Bellwether Students will be going back to Student Life Camp at Austin College in Sherman, TX – June 11-15! We will be lead in worship by Stan Johnson, and Scott Huff will be bringing the Word that week.
This year, we will explore the characteristics of Yahweh, the one and only living God (Deuteronomy 6:4), as experienced by Moses in Exodus 3-4. Rather than reduce God to a single attribute like “love” or “judge,” your students will encounter an Almighty creator God who is above us, with us in His Son Jesus (who declared His own divinity with the “I AM” statements recorded in John), and worthy of our trust because He will never change or fail. Unlike our current culture which suffers from intense “God” confusion, your students will have a clear picture of not only God’s character, but also how He relates to His children. They will return home with a firm theological and relational foundation to form a God-centered worldview and decision-making process.
We are also adding a mission component to our camp experience this year. This week will not only be a week where students will be poured into but one where students are invited out of their comfort zones to pour into others around them.
I’m excited to see how the Lord will move in our students! Camp is open to everyone, so invite friends and family! Early bird registration of $350 is open until Jan. 31st. After that price will increase to $410. So go ahead and secure your spot today!
Vision – Bellwether Youth is our ministry for Middle School and High School students. During these teenage years, we want them to discover who Christ is for the rest of their lives.  Our goal is for them to know the Bible, to be a friend to all, and to serve a world in need.
Weekly Gatherings – Our Youth meet weekly on Sunday nights in the Youth Room of the Bellwether White House from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.  The first hour we eat, play sports/music/games, and hang out.  The second hour, we teach from the Bible and discuss what we learn in small group and large group settings.
Parents – Partnering with parents is a priority.  We have your children a few hours a week.  You have them the rest of the week. Please contact us to see how we can partner to help you minister to them at the dinner table, in the backyard, and with the family.
