Giving to Haiti

The reports coming out of Haiti in the wake of the earthquake are staggering.  Please be in prayer for the all the people of this nations, especially those affected by the earthquake.  Last I heard, it was over 3 million.  At times like these, one can feel helpless looking at the magnitude of the situation.  There are ways we can give and help.  Here are two ways you can give over the coming weeks and months.   

 

First, pray for Haiti and for those involved in the rescue efforts.  

It is our prayer that God's hand is on those searching for survivors, 

and that God's peace is with those who have lost loved ones.

Second, give generously to UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on 

Relief.  UMCOR is always among the first on the ground in these
